Dettol Mzansi Protect is a purpose-driven initiative committed to addressing health and hygiene challenges facing communities in South Africa; particularly children, who are among the most vulnerable.

Through a combination of education, access, and impactful hygiene initiatives, Dettol Mzansi Protect is on a mission to promote good health and wellbeing in schools and homes across South Africa. From hand-washing programs to hygiene product donations and national awareness campaigns; we're working to build healthier habits with our Dettol Schools and In-Safe Hands New Mothers program.

Dettol Schools Program

The Dettol Schools Program is designed to drive long-term behaviour change through the promotion of good hygiene practices among learners. By engaging schools across South Africa, the programme delivers impactful hand wash education, distributes essential hygiene kits to learners, and empowers educators through specialised training.

In-Safe Hands New Mothers Program

The Dettol New Mothers Program is dedicated to supporting new mums after childbirth by promoting good hygiene practices for both mother and baby. In partnership with clinics, NGOs, and community organisations, the program delivers workshops across the country, offering guidance on postnatal hygiene.

Together with our partners, we are committed to making a meaningful, long- lasting impact in vulnerable communities.
